Montana ~ Yellowstone
As promised, here is another picture from our trip to the Crazy Mountain Ranch. One of our choice of activities was a tour through the northern section of Yellowstone National Park. Skye and I are standing before a gorge, with an icy waterfall in the background. When we first entered the park through the Roosevelt Arch, everyone was exclaiming over the elk and bison that were on either side of the road ~ by the time we left, these animals had become common sites. We also saw mule deer, big horn sheep, coyote and the Druid Peak wolf pack. Very cool. Our two guides gave a continuous, and entertaining commentary regarding the history and geology of the park.
