Bead Fest Wire Philly ~ 5

Walking into my classroom on sunday morning was like a reunion party! It was so cool to have so many previous students/friends come in to take the Prong Pendant class with us. I was extremely pleased to introduce yet another 'underpaid assistant', Mint, and Gina jumped in to help as well. Jack, one of our new students, is an awesome baker who brought in a huge variety of goodies, including Italian specialty cookies, donots, crumb cake, and mini eclairs, (and a few other things ~ I don't have any idea what they were, but they were delicious). Mint's husband Dean became my 'on the spot' photographer, and Beth treated us to dark chocolate truffles. (Someone brought some glazed chocolate donots holes too - yum!) We also had the pleasure of having another instructor take this class.
Yes, it was an intense, intermediate/advanced project, but everyone learned the techniques taught and many wore their finished pendants home that day.
Sunday fternoon, Dottie and I had a full class for the Crystal Wave Ring - but somehow I forgot to get a group picture, sorry. I guess everyone was ready to get headed home after a such full weekend.
Thank-you all, so very much, for being part of one of the wondeful experiences that makes teaching so rewarding to me.
