This afternoon, I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Christian and Nina Albert who came to shop and play in Tucson from Bad Kissingen, Germany. (Christian is a lapidary, certified with Idar-Oberstein.) Nina and Christian own and operate a mineral and fossil store where they design and make most of the jewelry they sell themselves. I taught them both how to frame free form cabochons into wire pendants and can hardly wait to see what they do with this knowledge when they return home.
