I flew my daughter, Skye, out to experience the gemshows on thursday evening. She got delayed in Chattanooga and was rerouted to Phoenix ~ so I made the almost 3 hour drive on thursday night to get her at 11:30pm. (Good thing I had Friday off!) I took her to 'my' show first, the Jogs Show, where she was amazed by the size of this gigantic amethyst geode. We then wandered a bit at the Electric Park show where we both indulged in some beautiful tie-dye, I found a cool new rough material named 'Tube Jasper', and we made it back in time for me to get ready for the Swarovski party. (I do have to go back to TEP though as I forgot to get some new blades for the rock saws!)
