Today's class was learning how to work freeform, drusy cabochons into pendant designs by mixing gauges and tempers of wire. I began the class by taking my students to one of the show vendors, Brazil Rock Shop, where I purchased the cabochons they chose to work with today. Lisa Graves came from Hebron, Maine; Kat Paull from Maui, HI celebrated her birthday by treating herself to my class, and Arlene Koker is a returning student whose home base is in Michigan. Each of these ladies made totally different designs, using the same techniques, and left with gorgeous pieces. (yes, that's me looking totally surprised as Lana May took the picture)
